Museums consist of rich historic and cultural repositories that reflect the importance of humanity.
Frisco Heritage Museum was open in 2008 at 6455 Page Street, east of the city hall and library. The museum occupies 18,000 square feet and comprises a huge collection of the City of Frisco’s history. Some of the ancient collection include Bolin antique collection, previously housed in McKinney. Variety of exhibits including the century printing press, a service station with vintage cars of the ’20s and 30s, railroad memorabilia, King Cotton exhibition, as well as Heritage Theater displaying old movies.
The Heritage Association of Frisco is responsible for maintenance of the exhibition space. There is a gift shop in the museum with plenty of items for a different audience whether young or old. The gift shop also contains all historical publications done by the association since its inception.
Frisco Heritage Museum recently took part in the Blue Star Museum Program, which a free admission program to active duty military families
usually done from Memorial Day up until Labor Day.
The museum closes on Mondays and Tuesdays. It opens from 10 AM to 5 PM on Wednesday up until Saturday. Sunday is afternoon only, 1 to 5
