Frisco Athletic Center is an award-winning fitness and aquatic center geared toward families. It is situated in the Frisco area with over 100,000 square feet of indoor wellness space and over 350,000 gallons of water. Whether it’s general health and fitness, sports leagues, children’s birthday celebrations, or aquatic activities, the FAC has it all. The center, which opened in 2008, is contemporary, nicely designed, and well-maintained.
The FAC is meant to offer a diverse range of family-friendly activities.
2 full-size gymnasiums dedicated to a number of different sports
There are 2 racquetball courts.
On Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., a volleyball net will be available for setup.
This 5,000-square-foot area is dedicated to newborns and kids aged from eight weeks to ten years. This room is brimming with toys, games, and activities that will keep your child entertained for hours. Parents can leave their youngsters at the facility while they work out or engage in a program.
The Indoor Aquatic Center is equipped with a play structure for youngsters, a water temperature activity pool, a stream channel with vortex, 4 lap lanes, and ‘Big Blue’ – an indoor water slide.
Frisco Water Park features water slides, a lazy river, playground facilities for youngsters, and a lagoon pool during summer.
The 22,000 square foot fitness floor, which features over 240 pieces of workout equipment, provides everything you need to reach your health objectives. Take advantage of diverse workout machines such as cardio and strength machines, an extensive weight lifting section, and an advanced functional training area with a designated functional training room. This well-kept, open style is suitable for people of all fitness levels and abilities.
Studio 1 and Studio 2 each have mirrored walls, hardwood floors, a modern sound system, a ballet barre, and a retractable wall that can be opened to unite the studios into a single over the 4,000-square-foot room. Every studio is provided with training equipment, chairs, and tables for recreation programs and camps.
The 2,200-square-foot multipurpose room is given the name for FAC’s Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. It features wide windows, a mirrored wall, and a quality sound system. Although the room is supplied with spin bikes and strength equipment for fitness programs, it can also be used as a recreational room.
