Meadow Hills Estates was formerly a portion of Meadow Hills Country Club, a private club founded in 1957 by 100 predominantly Jewish families. The Country Club was unique in that it did not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, or religion and was intended to serve as a rival to Green Gables Country Club. Initially, only the clubhouse and swimming pool were constructed. Members then began constructing dwellings on nearby properties that had been subdivided from farms.
Since Aurora’s annexation, the community has continued to grow – one lot at a time. In 1992, the covenants were authorized. The final remaining lot was developed in 2019. As a result, a distinct neighborhood of big lot custom houses spanning 60 years of architectural design has been created. The upshot of those six decades is a community that has nurtured a sense of belonging and acceptance. (Source: meadowhillsestates.com)
Residents keep an active and social living as a result of the community’s pleasant features. There is a private amenities center with a toddler pool, an Olympic-sized pool, and paved walkways and jogging trails. Additionally, there is a picturesque pond and a pet-friendly park where families can enjoy a picnic or take a walk through the abundant green space.
This neighborhood is ideal for people in search of single-family residences. The majority of the community’s housing stock was established between 2000 and 2006, but newer construction residences were erected as recently as 2006. Meadow Hill Estates homes are generally between $185,000 to $880,000 and set on quarter-acre lots with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Garage parking is the most prevalent type of parking.
